Pinza is a hole in the wall restaurant that doesn't want to be in the same category of a pizza. They boast of having a class of their own which they say is every foodie's answer to a healthy and wholesome hand-kneaded crust. Unlike any other, pinza is proud to say that their crust is composed of 80% water making it the lightest crust with least calories that Dubai has got to offer.
The creation was inspired in Italy where the key ingredients are sourced from the place. So I think it's safe to say that having one is a close taste of what Italy and Dubai have to offer. What started out as a simple delivery store is now slowly evolving to be a full pledged restaurant.
They currently have two store locations: One in Business Bay and the other one in Barsha. Had visited the branch in Business Bay with @maizycolleen and I can say that the place can accommodate only a small group of people. It had cool and minimal interiors which were perfect for photography.
For their food, I have to say that they have a pretty limited option. They currently serve 18 different variants 2 of which are dessert pizzas. The drinks are also the normal thing you find in a supermarket but hey you came here for the pizza right? :D
Here were our orders: Pinzafied Margherita - Tomato Sauce, Cherry tomato, Burrata, and Basil.
Hailed as their best selling pinza. This unique variety has a simple taste that's very addicting. I love how the burrata cheese just explodes in your mouth. I agree when they say that this is one of their best-selling dishes.
Pepperoni - Tomato Sauce, Mozarella, and Pepperoni Salami.
This American classic flavor had a pretty good taste in my opinion. They say that the meat here is directly sourced from Italy making it one of a kind here in Dubai. Not the best pepperoni dish that I've tried but it's also not bad to try.
Spizy - Mozzarella, Wagyu Sausage, Portobello Mushrooms, Caramelized Onion, Chili Flakes, and Fennel Seeds.
This dish is more on the sweeter side. It contains a lot of toppings that can be overwhelming for some. Personally, I'm not a fan of sweet type of pizza but others would find this unique and amazingly good.
Mother Earth - Potato Base, Zucchini, Cherry Tomato, Onion, and Oregano.
Who said vegans can't eat pinza? Well, guess what, they have this unique flavor that you should try. It has no meat in it and is filled with vegetables but let me just say that this one was my favorite pinza of all. It's flavorful and simply delicious. True enough, you never need a pizza full of toppings just to be good.
Pinza really proved itself as having the lightest crust in the whole region. You can actually finish 2 pinza in one sitting and I don't know if that would be enough. I really think this restaurant will go a long way. I hope to see them expand and deliver more dishes that will blow everyone away.
